As organized as a trip can be when you're planning it for 16-20 people, I have to admit it turned out fairly well. Granted I did end up getting sick and a week later still have not recovered. It is always tiring for those who organize it but it was great to see that everyone else enjoyed themselves. Getting laid off gave me the extra time I wasn't willing to ask for. These past few days have been a whirlwind. I should have guessed something terrible was going to happen when the day before I had an amazing day, everything was going my way, nature really does balance everything in life. Well i meant to write over labor day weekend but got caught doing research the little time i had on my computer, which was actually more then i expected. Confusing, i know. It was great to have my dad come visit. It's always a rush to get things prepared for a visit but once they do it things are easy going. First night I tried making something new, some asian cuisine. I felt like I might be able to after gaining more experience and taste for korean food through my korean class. Our korean teachers try to expose us to the culture after studying the language for 2 hours. Typically they bring side dishes from a nearby korean market or make something and bring it from home.
