m: I tasted the chocolate here today and...the chocolate comes from columbia but this is a holiday town and they make chocolate because of the influence of the cold and swiss colonialists as far as i can tell. it is delicious. The town is used by students as their matric break holiday place so they are used to travellers. we went out for drinks tonight at what looked like a floating bar and turned out to be an ice rink. It was beautiful and an escape from the cold wind that was blowing through our layers. we watched the sun set from the ice rink...a paneramic view, it was great. We have spied a place to stay about twenty klm from here, on the lake,it has a huge fire place....as if it could get better!!! their icecream is also world famous...yum that will be breakfast. write soon mandy
