next was Otavarlo a small market town that has a famous “traditional” market and not far from a dead volcano, we found a really nice hostel were all the rooms were off a court yard that was shaded by avacardo and coconut trees and also had a large open fire by night in the middle which is where we met Adrian a guy from middle USA who was on a business trip sourcing stock, we had lots of larger introduced him to Couchsurfing and generally chatted about travel till the early hours, during the day we visited the marked which was huge but it seemed every single stall sold exactly the same thing which made me wonder how they all make a living!!!! we also went to see Cuicocha Lagoon the lake in the volcano crater which was very beautiful quiet and very calm. With water that was so clear.
