Well people, I am writing this from my desk at home, weird huh? I'm thrilled to be home but it really feels like I've only been away about a week or so. My last few days in New York were pretty hectic. The first few were ok, I went shopping, spent a morning at the Met, caught a show on Broadway, went to the cinema, walked through Central Park. Then the travsit workers launched their first strike in 25 years so I pretty much had to walk everywhere, which wasnt the best considering I was staying uptown and all the places I needed to go were downtown and it was about minus 3 degrees out. But I ma...

Hello people, greetings from Boston. I'm close to home now, yay. Lemme inform you of my movements of late. So I had a nice few days in San Fran. After the mess of my last night in Vegas, I wasnt really up for much so I did some gentle sightseeing, window shopping and relaxing. After the tour of the city on my last day I went for like the best dinner EVER in a bar close to my hostel. It was an Irish bar and I was ecstatic to find that they had Carslberg, so I had a pint. And they served me proper brown bread with my yummer meal so I left the place well fed and super content. A nice memory. So f...

Howdy folks well after the last of my long haul flights I touched down in the US of A last week and have been busy busy busy since. My first day in LA was pretty quiet since I didnt sleep a wink on the flight. I did boring things like laundry and organising activities and then had a saunter down Hollywood boulevard and caught a movie in the famous Chinese Mann's near the Kodak theatre. The next morning I did a tour of the Stars homes in Beverly Hills and Bel Air with some peeps from my hostel. I saw Brad and Jens old gaf, and the Playboy mansion and places like that. Impressive. Took a stroll...
Hammock time

Mood: Content and totally relaxed!
Greetings again. Once again I'll have to keep this brief coz I have about 10 fiji follars left and half of that is to get me to the airport later so I cant be spending in at all the internet cafe. SO I just got back from Robinson Crusoe island and I am feeling totally chilled and relaxed at the mo, as was the plan. The island is so small it literally takes about 20 mins to walk around it. It really felt like a desert island (apart from the fact that you can see the mainland from it, but you know what I mean!). I pretty much spent most of my 4 days there swinging in a hammock, it was great. Eve...

Mood: Happy but hot hot hot
Greetings from beautiful Fiji. I dont have much time so I'll just quickly fill you in on what I've been up to since I last wrote from Christchurch. So landed in the sweltering heat in Nadi and did nothin but sleep and read for my first few days. Then started the Feejee experience tour which I've been on for the last four days. I have spent time on lovely beaches, have attended a Kava ceremony (it looks and tastes like mucky water, but hey, 'when in rome' and all that jazz), did a 3 hour trek in the roasting heat, went river tubing, visited a local school, went on a sunset cruise, visited a typ...
