So far so good.
In Queenstown at the minute, and just had the biggest fuckin' burger you've ever seen. Ahhhh it was good. Suppose you had to be there really though. For one moment there was just me and my burger in the whole universe. The next there was Kaori as well, questioning why I had just told my burger I loved it and was going to miss it.
We've just come back from Milford Sound, which to those who've never heard of it (which included me until about yesterday) is a big fuck-off collection of mountains and shit near some water. Again, maybe you've got to see it to understand (or get someone with a more descriptive nature than me to describe it).
There's also Mount Cook - which the guidebook describes as "the tallest mountain in New Zealand, surrounded by awe-inspiring glaciers and some of the most amazing scenery New Zealand has to offer". We'll just have to take the guidebook's word for it in this instance, however, as even with numerous road-signs, several maps, two guidebooks AND a GPS system we managed to miss the turn-off for it. Good job.
Oh yeah, tip of the day - when you hire a campervan take note of it's registration and how it looks, otherwise when you come out of the shower and walk up to someone else's van commenting how you didn't realise there was an ironing board attached to the cupboard you're going to get funny looks.
Okay, onwards and upwards. Photo's to follow.
