Typhoon good typhoon bad.

Date: 7 Aug 2008, 16:15 Place: Hong Kong

Mood: Happy but with that niggling feeling...

Before we get on to the typhoon I should add some kind of order to this entry.

Tuesday 5th August. I finished work and hurried my ass over to Central so I could catch the Airport Express Train..because I was going to Asia Expo...to see the bands you see! We had tickets for Live and Loud...a kind of mini festival (as in 5 bands...mini mini). On the bill, Jamie (I haven't a clue who he is) Scott, New Found Glory, (oops I) Lost (my eyeliner) Prophets, One ( I like veal) Republic and Simple Plan. I wasn't overly loving the line up so we bought the cheaper standing tickets, which just meant we weren't at the front. We had our own little section a bit further back...seemed a little pointless, but who am I to comment. The gig was amazing! I was feeling quite reserved at the start, warmed up my vocals and my moves during NFG and by the time Lost Poppets came on I was in full swing to have a bit of a jump around and wave my hands in the air. It just felt so good to be at a rock gig again! I went to see Comeback Kid when I forst arrived here which was also very good...but I was on my own....and the mosh wasn't a fun mosh it was a let's swing our arms round like a helicopter and see who we can take out kind of mosh pit.

After and during the gig we had a few beers, missed the last train back and so we got the bus which tok forever to get to Causeway Bay by which point the only answer to our non existing quiestion was Mcdonalds. We got in at around 4am and so we went straight to bed.....as we had work at 9am the following morning.

My alarm went off at 7.15am. I snoozed well on to 7.45 when there was a knock at my door....yep...i'm alive I think was my response....and Jo's response was....good news...Typhoon 8! Which means...no work! It lasted all day, so it was just nice to spend a day in the house and not feel like I wasted a day. It got to around 7pm and people started getting cabin fever, and the typhoon warning had gone back down to a 3, so we all went out! Went to a nice bar called Solas in Soho where we drank (ladies night so all the girls drink for free), danced andcaused havoc. The workers went home, and the morning offers went to Wan Chai for more of everything. Heat and Typhoon for good times :)

I should add some more pictures..xx
