Ok so these are the few pictures I took in Ohio and Kentucky. We went the week before Labor Day...it was me, my mom, and my grandfather. Grandpa had been wanting me to come down for YEARS, so I finally decided it was time to go. I can't say that I enjoyed the 16 hours car ride each way, but the trip itself was relaxing and enjoyable. Not much to do in that area but visit ppl, but thats ok.

In Ohio we visited Grandma's sister and her family. Delicious food of course. We stayed with Susie, who put us up like we were in a bed and breakfast (HUGE difference from what I'm used to) and even had pink bathrobes and slippers waiting for us...well not for Grandpa:)

In Kentucky we stayed in a typical hotel, but again much better than what I'm used to in many ways. We visited tons of relatives and I learned many things about my family that I didn't know before. So that was definitely a good thing, since it's important to understand where you're coming from to get to where you're going. So cliche, but true. More good home-cooked food of course. But also a lot of devilish fast food which I will not be craving for a LONG time. Kentucky Mexican food will give you food poisoning, watch out.
