The Stu'smobile

Date: 18 May 2008, 06:26 Place: Australia

Mood: OK I suppose

OK, I'm back to do some bragging coz we just acquired this little beauty. No longer shall be have bags of fertilizer and cement on the back seat of the pocket rocket, brilliant as it was, it was getting a bit tired and using oil so, after months of prevarication we found this Hi-Lux in a yard. It is ex Dept. of Defence, 17000k on the clock and has six seats and big-bore-four 2.7 DOHC VVTI motor with stick shift, step and bar. Sensational. We paid a lot less than was being asked, just by not giving an inch in negotiations. In the end we walked away but they phoned us back a few hours later and caved in. Looks like we got our new roof for nothing! All for now, we're off for a drive before the price of petrol goes up any more. Ttfn Jim
