On Tuesday I went walking around Chatswood again, mainly to the Westfield's mall to check stuff and cash some traveller's cheques. I wandered into Toys R Us and saw heaps of cool stuff but most of the boxes were too big to take home. Had a quick lunch at Wrap Express and hopped across the road to Chatswood Mall. There I found a souvenir shop and made my first purchase. Unfortunately I cannot reveal what it is because it would ruin the surprise for someone special. What I can tell is that I saw something really gross there. Gross even on my scale: kangaroo-paw-on-a-stick backscratcher. It was so gross that it was cool. I'm probably going to get it some day just because it's so gross.
Elise was having a day off and Tony came home early as well so that we might pick some stuff up from their friend's place. Drove to near Glebe or maybe it was at Glebe and I met yet more new people: Lina and Alex(?). After loading the stuff to the car we went for coffees in Glebe and I had my first flat white. Pretty darn good if you ask me, which you don't.
In the evening Jarrod and Jim invited me for dinner to watch the Late Show. I must say that's a masterpiece of comedy, and I thought Bri'ish comedy was good. The Late Show rocks "like a tigerrr."
When I returned to the ZHouse I found ICQ flashing at me and it was Scathing! He asked me out for late coffees and of course I went. We drove to someplace I can't remember anymore and I had another flat white. They can really make coffee in this country, even at Starbucks. Scathing also took me to a few nice sightseeing places near the Harbor Bridge and the nightly view was spectacularrrr. I slapped myself a few times for leaving the camera at the house. This also cost me the picture of a hairdresser's called "Ménage a Trois."
