Oh joy!

Now I've exchanged some Euros to these interesting looking Australian Dollars. They have little plastic windows in them and each note seems to tell a historical tale. I think I got a decent exchange rate in spite of the AUD getting stronger recently due to the Pacific Union speculations. Apparently Henry Rollins has said that the best thing about Australian notes is that you can go surfing with them and they will still be intact because they are plastic. As much as I appreciate his ineffable wisdom I think I won't be trying surfing with any this beautiful currency on.

I still have some stuff to buy, also have to get a travel insurance but most things are in order. One thing I need is a power plug adapter : "a pig's snout to sad face" adapter like I described it earlier :)
