8:00 PM for those of you in Bend, OR
A full day of traveling is always exciting. From 3:00 in the morning to 6 or so in the evening we battled through numerous travel agents at desks asking for people to delay their flight for over booking, fought against the masses of people going from one end of an airport to another, and escaped near death situations while driving with and insane taxi cab driver. From all of this we have concluded one thing. If we were to fly to Miami on spring break every spring break without the intent of getting there at a specific time, we could amass at least 6 free round trip tickets from bumping ourselves to other flights. Our party grew from 5 to 7 half-way through the flights as my half sister and her husband joined us, (The ones who really made this whole cruising thing possible and affordable) We are currently at 9, as a friend of my mothers and her son joined us, and we are still waiting on another 10 to join us. Should be interesting if nothing else... There are really no exciting stories that stand out today, no racoons trying to eat cats at 3 in the morning before departure or anything of that nature, so I really don’t have much to type. I’m also quite tired, and very smelly (I’m assuming) from traveling for so long. I’ve been up and around for 48 hours or so, and I’m off to shower and then getting sleep before boarding the boat tomorrow. (If any of you have ever been to a Dave and Busters restaurant, that’s where we ate tonight after walking around Miami for a while. That is quite the exciting place to eat, so I guess something exciting kind of did happen. Other than food, there is not much exciting.)
