last day at sea

At sea Well, for once I guess I”ll be writing an entry on the day the entry is being written about, instead of two hours or so after it ends. Today was our last day at sea, our last day on the boat. To be perfectly honest, all of these days at sea are, to me, a complete waste of my time. I’d much rather be seeing something, doing something, other than eating and lounging. I guess since this is the last day, and I have a while before I actually go to sleep. I think I’ve actually done quite well at keeping to my own time zone, 4:00 in the morning here is the same as 1:00 in the morning th...
city by the sea

We began in a port in Cozumel, where we got off the boat. We saw that port for about 50 seconds in the morning, and about ten minutes in the evening. We began by taking a sea taxi to Playa something or rather over in Mexico. After that boat ride, and another bus ride which collectively took a couple of hours, we were in the only Mayan coastal city, Tumul. Although the architecture was influenced by the roman styles a lot, and the traditional Mayan styles of architecture were more prominent in other cities, it was still an amazing piece of history, though I didn’t get to spend nearly enoug...

huh? AM - Bend
We are once again crossing the artificial barrier between time zones, so I’m going to give up thinking about time differences. If one wants a reference as to what time it is, just know that Bend either two or three hours away from the time zone I’m in. Ya.... Tomorrow night we’ll be passing through one more time before heading back over it and two others like it the following day, so I’m just befuddled. The fact that I write al of these at two or so in the morning following the day I did it doesn’t help. So yesterday I didn’t type anything, because the day before ye...

WTF? o'clock - Bend
We are now going back across to the time zone we were in before, and I’m so confused I really don’t know when or where it is or what’s going on, so I’ll just read the on board clock and five you what I got. With that once again explained, I shall resume. ;) Now then, to Costa Rica. No tours were planned for this day, so I had a day to sleep in, or at least sleep in until Kelli didn’t show up a little early for her horse back riding, so everyone was calling the room, but oh well, such is life. After a quick breakfast, I headed into town with my mother. It was a cl...
