Here's my story:
When was the last time you didn’t have a drink for a week? Or a proper shower? Or the convenience of a shop if you need something? Or access to tab water?
That was just after Easter - and don’t worry, I had a proper shower before I went back to work!! Together with 5 friends, Lynne and I travelled...

Papua New Guinea

Mood: Happy and sad
This is the amazing story of our trip to Papua New Guinea (PNG)!
Lynne turned 40 last December and the last time she saw her mother was at age 2. Her dad (Australian) was a teacher in a remote island province in PNG where he met Lynne’s mother (a local) and 9 months later Lynne was born. When Lynne was 2 she left PNG with her father and hadn’t seen her since. She didn’t even know if she was still alive or where she lived as her father had been silent on the issue. But that all worked out quite well a...

Winterslaap voorbij / summer on its way!!
Date: 28 Oct 2005, 10:24 Place: Sydney,
Australia
Mood: All right but sad cause Lynne is on holiday
I realized it has been a while since my last update, which was shortly after Easter and I already got some complaints about this (with good reason).
But I’m alive and kicking and let me give you an update of my first Australian winter, which was quite mild according to the locals, although I sometimes thought: BBRRRRR. Reason: most houses don’t have central heating.
A good excuse for being a little late in responding I guess is the fact that someone has a new girlfriend. Surprise, surprise, Ruud has a girlfriend. Please send all your complaints to Lynne!!! Hahaha. (By the way: she left f...
