Sorry about the delay.
The 5 days spent in Rio were different. Its a beautiful city in an amazing place. As you can imagine alot of our time was spent walking the beaches, watching foot-volleyball games; (Interesting mix of the two, the players are only allowed to use their head, feet, and knees.) and generally lazing about in the sun. We did visit Sugarloaf for an impressive sunset behind Christ the Redeemer, a Flamengo game at the Macarena (Huge stadium only a third full!, Unless its a huge game check out a Vasco game for a better atmosphere); we did a Flavela tour in the largest ghetto...

Hi Guys,
JUst a quick one to say sorry we've been so slack of late. I bet you have all been waiting on baited breath for the next instalment and unfortunately you'll have to wait a while longer. At the moment we're in a two bit town that charges a fortune for internet and we're about to go off trekking in the Torres Del Paine national park and then onto a three day boat cruise up the Chilean coast. Promise though after that we will fill you in on the last months adventures, we should certainly have loads to tell you all. If we can remeber it all.
Love to you all
Megs and Ian.

We forgot to mention Roger the Yank. Well when we got back to La Paz we found loads of backpackers handing out leaflets about some poor bloke who had gone mountain climbing with a guide. When they got near the top the guy started coughing up blood, blurred vision etc. Well the guide at this point decided enoughs enoughs so he unclipped the tourist and went down. Leaving the tourist to fend for himself and probably to his death.
Well late in the afternoon we saw Roger, handing out these leaflets. It ends up he was the poor guy who nearly died up the mountain and he expalined the situation in...

Sorry for the delay in writing this, we´ve legged it down to Rio via the Pantanal. Anyway time to catch up with the journals and get some more photos on.
Well after a very heavy nights drinking we got up for our 2 day river trip, barely got up that is. Steve and Ian were severely hung over and only managed to get a few hours kip. The boat trips first hour was the same as our original trip to the jungle camp a week before, and the guys opened the Ron and Coca leaves in the first hour after realising they were fighting a losing battle againest sleep. After a few hours the views from the river...

Right sorry about the delay, we ended up sprinting down to Uyuni, and now after spending 4 days on the moon we can carry on were we left off.
From the Jungle we were taken back to Rurre so we could have a wash get some more clothes and of course buy more Ron. After a few hours preparation we headed for the local booze shop. Now on first name terms with the owner we got our much needed 4 bottles of Ron and headed to the tour agency ready for our next adventure.
Our guide on this trip Nicholas had met up with us in the Jungle for the last night, along with his well built pal Jesus (Megs an...
